SENIOR MATERIALS TESTER/FIELD TECHNICIAN

Minimum Qualifications Required

a) Matriculation

b) 4 years recognition by prior learning

c) Code 08 Drivers Lisence

Minimum Experience Required

a) Four years materials testing and sampling experience.

Role Description

a) Completion of job Cards in full

b) Daily calibration of Nuclear Gauge and records

c) Use of radioactive Nuclear Gauge and safety

d) Coring of concrete/asphalt cores

e) Sampling on site

f) Testing on site – densities/nuclear/sand replacement

g) Entry of samples to Laboratory Register

h) Any other reasonable tasks as described by Business Unit manager

i) Responsible for up keeping and safeguarding of equipment

k)Responsible for reporting all faults and incidents on site
